Where can I find a list of all physician clinics in Minnesota?


We get this question quite often, and there really isn't an easy answer.


MMGMA member have access to a free online directory of all members and their facilities. MMGMA Affiliate members may also purchase a mailing list of MMGMA members. For information about these membership types please click on the Membership tab.


At this point, there is no free directory listing all physician clinics in Minnesota. You may contact the Minnesota Medical Association (MMA) or the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice to search their member databases.


You may also contact the James J. Hill Reference Library and request that they complete a search for you, or purchase a mailing list through your advertising agency or a website such as


Where can I find benchmarking information for staffing, productivity and costs in a medical practice?


The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) conducts an annual cost and productivity survey that provides many benchmarks for medical practices. You do not have to be a member to purchase or participate in their surveys. Please go to and click on Publications.


Where can I find local salary information for my medical office staff? Most of the information I have relates only to hospitals.


MMGMA is one of the sponsors of the Twin Cities and Regional Clinic Salary Survey, which is conducted each year and contains the information you are looking for. I would like to talk to someone to compare our processes to what other clinics are doing. Is there a networking group for clinics?


One of the greatest benefits of MMGMA membership is the opportunity to network with other medical practice professionals and affiliated business partners.

Why do I need to (or why should I) create an account?


Creating an account on the MMGMA website gives you access to more of our site’s features. Specifically, creating an account will allow you to:

  • Post job listings on our job board
  • Register for events
  • Read and post comments on news items and events


I forgot my account login information (username and/or password). What do I do?


If you have forgotten your username, try using your e-mail address. If you’ve forgotten which e-mail address you used with your account, please contact the MMGMA office.

If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgot password?” link in the login area. You will be prompted to enter your username or e-mail address. Click “E-mail new password.” An e-mail will be sent to you with instructions on how to set a new password.

Tips: Select a password that’s complicated enough to be secure but easy for you to remember. If you have trouble remembering your password, note it down in a secure location.


How do I cancel my event registration?


To cancel your registration for any MMGMA event, please contact the MMGMA office.


How do I join MMGMA?


Visit the Member Benefits page to learn more about the benefits of membership and visit the Join/Renew page to learn about dues and for links to our membership applications.


When does my membership expire?


If you are a member of MMGMA, you can see when your membership expires at any time by logging in to your account. Your account dashboard includes a box with your membership type, join date, expiration date, and a link to renew your membership.


How do I renew my membership?


If you are a member of MMGMA, you can renew your membership at any time by using one of the membership application forms linked from the member benefits page. Your account dashboard includes a box with your membership type, join date, expiration date, and a link to renew your membership (which takes you to the member benefits page).


How do I update my contact information?


You can update the contact information used by MMGMA to communicate with you at any time by logging in to your account. In the My Account box are links to your contact information and communication preferences. Follow the links to tell us how and where you prefer to be contacted.


How do I update my member directory listing?


If you are a member of MMGMA, you can update your member directory listing at any time by logging in to your account. In the My Account box is a link to your directory listing. Follow the link to tell us what to publish in your directory listing.


I updated my contact information, but my member directory listing hasn’t changed. What’s going on?


To give members control over what information is available to fellow members, we have separated the member directory listing information from the general contact information of your account.


Contact Information – MMGMA uses the information you enter here to send you mail and e-mail. It is not automatically published in the member directory.


Directory Listing – uses the information you enter here to populate your member directory listing. As a member, you have complete control over what contact information is and is not published in the MMGMA member directory—including the ability to choose “do not list.” To update your member directory listing, log in to your account. In the My Account box is a link to your directory listing. Follow the link to tell us what to publish in your directory listing.
