We are dedicated to the advancement of group practice management through educational programs and information exchange, along with the enrichment of some good fun and fellowship. Our goal is to serve as a resource of information, ideas and industry contacts so that you can provide quality clinic management to your physicians.

The health care industry is ever changing. Membership in MMGMA helps you keep current in your dynamic profession. To Join MMGMA, you may submit an application online, via fax or mail. You may pay by check or credit card with any application submittal method you choose.

Legislative Representation

• MMGMA's Government Affairs Committee (GAC) works with our legislative liaisons to keep the membership informed of the latest developments in our state that may impact our respective practices.
  
• Each year GAC determines its legislative priorities and develops strategies to effectively deal with challenging issues for medical practices.
  
• MMGMA retains a professional lobbying organization to assist us in advancing our issues and to represent medical administrators and their practices with health care issues.

Professional and Personal Development

• Two annual conferences are planned to address the latest trends and issues that health care professionals and physicians face. Both national and regional speakers help attendees stay current on hot topics.
  
• Scholarship opportunities for health care administration education are available to expand your knowledge.

• The Directory in the Members Only area of our website allows you to search for persons based on a variety of criteria.

Salary Survey Information

• Annual salary survey information is collected from practices across the state and incorporated into a guide to assist you in wage analysis.
  
• The survey can provide the statistics you need to assist in staff retention in a very competitive market.
  
• The Twin Cities and Regional Clinic Survey is coordinated and sponsored by Fairview Health Services and Allina Hospitals and Clinics. The cost for the 2007 Survey is $50 for participants and $150 for non-participants.

• The information for The Twin Cities and Regional Clinic Survey is collected every June and it is normally published in September each year.
