We get this question quite often, and there really isn't an easy answer.
Where can I find benchmarking information for staffing, productivity and costs in a medical practice?
The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) conducts an annual cost and productivity survey that provides many benchmarks for medical practices. You do not have to be a member to purchase or participate in their surveys. Please go to www.mgma.com and click on Publications.
Where can I find local salary information for my medical office staff? Most of the information I have relates only to hospitals.
MMGMA is one of the sponsors of the Twin Cities and Regional Clinic Salary Survey, which is conducted each year and contains the information you are looking for. If you are a member of MMGMA, you can renew your membership at any time by using one of the membership application forms linked from the member benefits page. Your account dashboard includes a box with your membership type, join date, expiration date, and a link to renew your membership (which takes you to the member benefits page).
How do I update my contact information?
You can update the contact information used by MMGMA to communicate with you at any time by logging in to your mmgma.org account. In the My Account box are links to your contact information and communication preferences. Follow the links to tell us how and where you prefer to be contacted.

If you are a member of MMGMA, you can update your member directory listing at any time by logging in to your mmgma.org account. In the My Account box is a link to your directory listing. Follow the link to tell us what to publish in your directory listing.
I updated my contact information, but my member directory listing hasn’t changed. What’s going on?
To give members control over what information is available to fellow members, we have separated the member directory listing information from the general contact information of your mmgma.org account.
