|MMGMA 2015 Winter Conference: Special Events|
MORNING AT THE CAPITOL
Tuesday, March 3 • 8:30-10:30am
This is your opportunity to learn about and participate in MMGMA’s grassroots effort. We all know the benefits of networking in our day-to-day professional lives. The same philosophy can be applied to our efforts advocating on behalf of our patients and practices at the Legislature. Join your colleagues from around the state as we hear from our lobbyists and from a number of state legislators.
During this time you will:
Your participation makes a difference. Legislators want to know how their decisions will affect their local communities and this is your opportunity to get involved in the political process. Members with little political experience are especially encouraged to join us! We look forward to your participation in this exciting activity. This year, there will not be one-on-one meetings with legislators.
Attendance is limited to 60 people and pre-registration is required—sign up while you register for the conference.

The Opening Reception is a great time for you to engage with other conference attendees on session takeaways, network with industry business partners, or catch up with your colleagues and peers. Before you head home for the day, enjoy a cocktail and appetizers with your fellow attendees, vendors, and conference faculty immediately following the completion of the legislative update.
NEW MEMBER BREAKFAST
Wednesday, March 4 • 7:30-8:15am
MMGMA has more than 500 members that perform managerial duties involving multiple areas or administrative tasks involving a single area, or that provide patient care and perform significant managerial or administrative tasks. New members of MMGMA are invited to attend this educational breakfast to learn more about MMGMA, how they can utilize their member benefits and get involved with the organization, and network and connect with other new members and board members alike.
New for 2015, the New Member Breakfast is opening its doors to individuals who may not be so “new” to the organization. If you’re looking to share your skills and time with the organization, network with other members, or would like a refresher about your member benefits, you’re invited to attend.
During conference registration, you will be asked to choose which Wednesday breakfast you’d like to attend. If you have any inkling to make a difference, learn more, or meet the leaders who shape MMGMA, choose to attend the New Member Breakfast.
