MMGMA Summer Conference: A Superior Experience
A new logo and a new president named for 2014-2015 were among the headlines at the MMGMA 2014 Summer Conference. Unlike some other associations, MMGMA offers both summer and winter conferences each year, in addition to such other educational and networking opportunities as A Day with the Payers, and A Day at the Capitol.
“We enjoyed a range of learning opportunities, from the market impact of MNSure, to innovative care models, to the evolving influence of social media on healthcare,” said William Evans, MMGMA 2013-2014 president and conference/education committee chair.
Here’s a glimpse of our recent get-together in Duluth:
- As a result of a new affiliation agreement with the national Medical Group Management Association, MMGMA will adopt the MGMA logo beginning in 2015.
- MMGMA’s new president will take the helm in October: Douglas Hanson, CEO of Buffalo Clinic, Monticello Clinic and Albertville - St. Michael Clinic. Watch for announcement of the 2014-2015 MMGMA Board of Directors, coming in October.
- Attendees: 176
- Exhibitors: 48
- Speakers: 17
- Sponsors: 15

- Number of affiliate members?
